Belfast Playwrights offers Dramaturgy Services from a collection of local Belfast writers.
Service includes:
Script analysis and written copy of feedback.
Face-to-face meeting where the script is discussed thoroughly and in detail.

*Surcharge may apply for scripts over 100 pages.

Playwriting
We are currently open for playwriting commissions.
Whether you are a theatre company looking for your next show, or just someone who has a story to tell, we offer commission packages tailored to your needs and budget.
We offer original and adapted plays written to your theme, cast size, and audience, and in line with your timelines and logistics.

Plays will be written by our founder Heather Martin, an eight-time produced playwright working across Northern Ireland, Australia, England, and Switzerland. If we feel your work would be better suited to a different playwright, however, we can find someone who is just right.
Directing
We have a team of talented and experienced directors available to bring your show to life. We will work together to capture your vision, and tell your story the way you want it to be told.
We offer different packages based on your budget, including up-front payments, and profit-split.
